The purpose of the Possible Duplicates feature is to alert the user that the information they are entering matches a previously entered Lead, Client, or Creditor. Fields must match exact we do not match partial fields.
Duplicate Matching is based on a similarity score setting. The similarity score settings can be setup in the Administration Console.
Matching phone numbers, fax, email, SSN, or bank accounts have a score of 50
Matching DOB have a score of 20
For example:
If a client has the same SSN and DOB then the resulting score would be 70.
